Sister Yengo Invited to 'Women for a Better World' Meeting in Madrid, Spain

One hundred of the most influential women in Africa were invited to Madrid in March by Queen Sofia of Spain for the Second International Meeting Spain-Africa "Women for a Better World". Sister Brigitte was honored to be invited to this special conference. Topics covered were: Women and Peace, Education of girls in Africa, Guaranteeing Human Rightsand Womens' Access to Health. Speakers at the conference included Mrs Luisa Diogo (Prime Minister of Mozambique), Mrs Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf (President of Liberia), Her Majesty, Queen Sofia, Mrs Wangari Maathai (Nobel Peace Prize Winner 2004) and many others.
